RULES AND REGULATIONS
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Oregon Limousin Breeders will provide a $250.00 scholarship each school year provided a qualified application is received.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible for the OLB scholarship you must be a graduating senior from high school or attended an accredited college or university for one or more years. You must be an active member of the Oregon Junior Limousin Breeders for at least two years, including the year of applying for the scholarship. Your age must be 22 years or younger.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANT
1-Obtain an application blank from the OLB scholarship chairman.
2-Complete the application in detail and send to the OLB scholarship chairman no later than August 1 of the current year.
3-The application may be hand written, typed or by computer.
4-Attach additional sheets if necessary
5-Enclose high school transcripts or current college transcripts.
6-Enclose two letters of recommendation.
FUNDS
The $250.00 is payable to the scholarship winner after verification of attendance from the college registrar. The money will be credited to the winners account.
SELECTION
Selection of the Oregon Limousin Breeders Scholarship recipient will be based on scholastic excellence in school; leadership and citizenship is demonstrated; participation in Limousin shows and activities; participation in 4-H and/or FFA activities and projects. The scholarship applicants will be notified of the winner by November 1 of the current year.
